It’s about time to get a post going here.  I took a bit of a leave from blogging mostly because I was frustrated with Blogger’s platform…oh and I wanted my own domain to blame for downtime.  I came across WordPress and it was love at first sight!  Well, actually it took about 2 months to figure out, design around, and wha-la…here it {finally} is.  Fun stuff.  Now, I’m NOT a Blogger-hater by any means…I have many nearest and dearest friends over there, but this just works better for me.

So, me…I’m MamaJoss…you may have bumped into me way-back-when, on my blog “Dribbles & Diapers”.  While the “dribbles” have lessened around here and potty-training is a feat we are currently tackling…I felt I needed to re-name my bloggy-space.  As for the kiddos, “myBuddy” {what we’ll call him) is 19 months old and “Pinkie” {what we’ll call her} is 7 months old.  On a daily basis, they are both very demanding, yet all-of-a-sudden so much fun to be with.

I’ll re-cap for you…to warm things up in here and get it all cozy-home for you.

PapaBoss & I are originally from the Jersey Shore and we actually met via match.com.  Our first date was truly love-at-first-sight and still gives me the butterflies thinking about it.  He actually IS Irish and I’m Polish, so now you know and can go on with your jokes!  We got married January 7, 2006 and moved out to Pennsyltuckyvania for his job.  He works in the Philla-city doing Inter-web-net-schmooze-what?  I’m still not 100% sure what he actually DOES does, but he’s a web-savy people-person…and quite a charmer.

I got pregnant right around Thanksgiving of that first-married year…it was a kinda-sorta surprise.  Baby number one, myBuddy, was born on August 6, 2007.  I was induced a week prior to my due date because of my Pregnancy Induced Hypertension…the day of my weekly doctor’s visit showed my blood-pressure was UP, meant that baby should come OUT.  I was only in labor for a total of 4 hours – he was/is a beautiful, healthy baby boy.

Then…3 months later…ooops!
me to PapaBoss (as he was feeding the baby): Do you see a line?
PapaBoss: no.
me: um…seriously dude…?
PapaBoss: yes.
crap.

Pinkie was ALMOST born on his 1st Birthday!  She was born August 4, 2008.  I was once again induced due to my blood pressure being elevated.  She only took 2 hours of labor…and was/is this beautiful little pink bundle of sweetness.  We brought her home from the hospital on myBuddy’s first birthday.
