Takin’ it easy…getting ready for the weekend…Island style.

My question is: HAS YOUR HOUSEHOLD HAD THIS PLAGUE THAT IS GOING AROUND?

Finally yesterday they started to feel better. The 2 little ones have been sick for almost 2 weeks now. Started as a rash/fever…went to Dr…told it was a virus…go home. Fever broke. Sniffles started…turned into heavy congestion and coughs. Went BACK to Dr…now it’s double ear infections for both. Both are still miserable and on antibiotics, which make their bellies ache too. Now PapaBoss is on his way home with some sort of disgusting bug-plague-fever-thing that he picked up on business (damn state of Virginia – JK!) and me, well…sniffle sniffle…blow…ahhhhchooo…as I type — there goes the weekend! Hope you don’t catch anything from being on my blog today. Aaaaah – CHOOOO!

I have asthma so if one of my kids gets the sniffles than I get a cough. Feel like I always have a cough but so far not much worse than that.

We had the nasty stomach bug 2 weeks ago… SO GLAD we’re done with that!!!
Yes, my family and my daughters family have all been sick but thank God and knocking on wood over all now
Yes we were all sick with some kind of nasty virus. My toddler grandson got the worst of it.

We did get the bug here too. I didn’t get the joy of both of the kids having it at the same time though, they went one after the other.. it was TONS of fun! I’m hoping we’re done for the year but my almost 4yo goes to preschool and picks up all kinds of nasty stuff from there, so we’ll see. I hope everyone is feeling better soon!
Oh – I looked up Butterfly Boucher on youtube and am digging “A Bitter Song” so thanks for the suggestion!

YES! It started out as all 4 of us having colds. Then my daughter had her 3 year well checkup and caught the flu germs there. A week of butt issues (thank God only a couple instances of throwing up), and the day she was over it, my son got it. The two of us had to stay home on Easter because of it. He’s almost 100%, but I’ve been feeling pretty gross for about a week now. Can’t wait for us all to be 1005 again!
Hope your little ones feel better soon! A couple of weeks ago we had a bad stomach virus that was being passed between the girls. YUCK! Guess it’s just that time of year ;-(
*Knock on wood* my son has been rather healthy. we’re just dealing with his cutting his last 2 molars. fun!
Oh my goodness! Just saw the post of all the baby pics! My husband is a hardcare Eagles fan and I found that picture of your little one on the blanket! We have the SAME blanket:)

We have had a lot of illnesses this winter. Right now my son just has a cough and his nose isn’t really too snotty. We have had a lot of colds this winter, 1 round of the flu, and my son has had strep and pink eye. No more please!
I too have twins, identical boys, they are almost 15 and my oldest is almost 17, so we do not go through the real icky sick phases anymore, thank goodness!
I have twins too ~ they are almost 7 now.
I’m sorry to hear that they have been sick ~ but i hope they are all better soon (and you guys too!)

Ugh!! We’ve got it bad over here too. And with the daycare it just doesn’t seem to go away. I think my own kids are FINALLY starting to feel better.
I hope your babies get better soon too.

Our last round of illness was in mid-March, but only my husband got really sick. And my son got a little sick. My daughter and I escaped (so far!). Hope you are all feeling better soon!!
