…I made it through this hellish week.  I can barely keep my eyes peeled, but I’m not wasting any moments of total silence in the house by sleeping through it.  Nope, I’m blogging.

This week was my first real test as a Mom.  Giving birth two times within one calendar year…no sweat {well, a little}.  Chasing around a toddler and swaddling a newborn simultaneously…easy-peasy.  But THIS…this, no one warned me about, nor could I ever prepare for it.  2…count them, 2 sick babies.  Not just sniffles…both had full blown fevers, rashes and double {trouble} ear infections.  They only wanted be held. {But HOW is Mommy going to blog if you are BOTH in my arms?}  Miserable, gooey, oozing, shrieking, sobbing, tearful, weepy, sleepless, vomiting, un-bathed {how could I?} children.  Did I mention that PapaBoss was away on business?

“Suckage” is my word of the week.

So seriously, I thought the week would never end.  I want to crawl into a ball and hibernate the next week away. But here I am…with my trusty glass of vino…tip-tap-typing away.  {PapaBoss is as sick as can be now too, so he’s of no help at the moment}

BUT {aaaaaaahhhh}  tomorrow is glorious Saturday.  The day where I get to jump {like a spastic kid} out of bed and lock myself in the bathroom for a half-hour to shower while HE has no choice but to take watch o’er the iTwins.  I’m tricky like that. This is me signing off and leaving you with this morsel to blow your schnoz to {it’s an oldie but a goody}:

Only in America – do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front of the store
