Aloha Friday :: Tiffany Blue

(36) Comments

Takin’ it easy … getting ready for the weekend … Island style.

It’s simple, just visit Kailani over at her blog Island Life to answer her question and then add a fun question of your own back at your place!

So, long-week-short … I messed with some bloggy Wordpress code and destroyed my blog on Wednesday. Booo. The good news … it’s {mostly} back and MUCH more organized {for me anyway} … the other good news … my “Tiffany Blue” color has made a return!

tiffany blue

You see, a few years back, when planning my wedding, everyone would ask me … what are your colors? Being totally obsessed with PINK, but for fear of having my bridesmaids bail out on me for asking them to wear cotton-candy pink … I decided on “Tiffany Blue”. It was a perfect color for a January winter-themed wedding. AND … the NEW COLOR-scheme of my “had to fix it ’cause I done messed it up” BLOG here. Ok….onto my question.

WHAT WERE/ARE GOING TO BE YOUR WEDDING COLORS/THEME? (feel free to link to a photo if you’d like!)

    I had a Christmas wedding and only one bridesmaid, my sister. She wore red. I’m sure she would have loved to wear Tiffany’s blue. :-)

    Tiffany blue. Why had I never heard of that colour? Is it because we don’t have Tiffany’s in Canada? Or if we do, I’m too broke to shop there anyways. It’s beautiful.

    Oh- my colours were periwinkle and lavender.

    Beautiful blog.

    I did not have a color scheme. I wore a cream colored dress. We had the wedding and reception at my moms house so it was really casual and really special.

    My colours were pink and brown. We had to quickly plan my wedding and it was tough finding pink bridesmaid dresses so they wore brown dresses with pink necklaces. The groom and groomsmen work pink ties and I had a pink ribbon to lace up the back of my dress.

    We had a very small, intimate wedding. There was no theme. I had a Maid of Honor and DH a best man. No colour theme at all.

    My husband and I both wore white, but our best man and matron of honor were coordinated in expresso brown.

    WOW… Really nice color.. We married in November… (1995) and Our color scheme was Burgundy… It actually worked out really well for the pictures… It was a horribly gloomy day, so the color popped with the gray skies and the hunter green evergreens.. lol..
