So I did IT! — we made the switch (dhun dhun DHUN!) to cloth diapers while I’m home with the iTwins during the day. This is a BIG switch. (we’ll eventually get around to traveling with and overnight in cloth diapers)
For me, this is a gradual transition because we’ve been in Huggies for 2 years now over here. I love Huggies (we use Pamper’s wipes) and couldn’t imagine anything easier with 2 bums to change all. day. long.
I admit – Cloth Diapers (and all the ickies with them) scared me in the past.
But, they are in MANY ways better for baby, the environment, your wallet and our garage (our community/association won’t let garbage cans be put outside until a few hours before trash pick-up — imagine that lovely odor!)
With that being said, I met a wonderful lady, Leann, though Mom Made That who is a cloth diaper GENIUS!
Leann represents – Happy Baby Cloth Diapers – she makes them…and she made the switch-over VERY easy for us!
She sent me these two little bum covers — called Pocket Diapers for a test drive. And boy, did the iTwins test them!
Aren’t they so adorable AND super-soft-looking! They have so many styles and cloth patterns & materials to choose from.

They have seemed much more comfy in their Happy Baby Cloth Diapers – and changing time (for me) has also ACTUALLY been pretty pleasant. NO wet clothes (one of the things I also feared about cloth diapers) & NO irritated bums – rash-free since we started last week.
Washing cloth diapers is also a lot less of a big-deal than I thought too.

I just switched! I have my whole new stash in the wash as I speak! I’m loving it though and I think my little man is too. He seems so comfy and we have less accidents (once I figured out the night time routine). I’m loving it and I would LOVE to try Happy Baby’s out!!
