Everytime there is leftover cake our house, post-birthday, post-holiday or because Mama was in a baking kind of mood…you can pretty much bet my Hubby will be shoveling it in for breakfast the next morn.
Yes, breakfast. blahhhk!
Apparently, his Mom always let him and his two brothers eat cake for breakfast when it was leftover as children. The justification of the nutritious value was “you HAVE to have a glass of milk with it!”
While this photo was taken during the afternoon…myBuddy must of had sweet dreams about this piece of cake he got to eat while sitting on Grandpa’s lap because the next morning at breakfast….he was asking for “cake cake cake”.
Those apples and not falling far from trees….yup, it’s true.
