Skin Free REVIEW – Finally Help for Mommy & Baby’s Sensitive Skin

must. have. products.I’ve always dreaded getting out of the shower to, dry myself off, wrap my hair up in a towel, put in my contacts and THEN….deal with the painful application of the dreaded lotion on my face!

You see, I have “the world’s most sensitive” skin (and I’ve passed it on to my babies).

ANY lotion I’ve used after a shower leaves my face burning, red, itchy and even has turned it shades of purple — yes!  I’m THAT sensitive.  It is EVEN WORSE now, after having been pregnant for two years.

I know what you are thinking…”girl you should just ask the dermatologist!” — been there.  I tried the expensive products they suggested (products they promote, just so they can make an extra buck).  Still red-faced, still burning.

My pharmacist, family and friends have all been in on this discussion over the years too with no real success stories…until NOW!

One bloggy-night, I FINALLY came across Skin Free™.

When I received my Extra Moisturizing Soap & Shampoo Bar™(which is ONLY $3.99!) & Lite Moisture Cream for Daily Use I got excited as soon as I opened the packages.

Why?

The ingredients….or lack of, I should say.  There was nothing listed in Skin Free™ products that I couldn’t pronounce…and I knew exactly what each individual ingredient actually was!  The bare, natural essentials. I especially loved the simplicity of this product.

So as soon as hubby got home from work, I set the kids up for dinner and ran to take a peaceful shower with my new skin goods.

I tried the Extra Moisturizing Soap & Shampoo Bar™ first.

It literally smells as fresh as, well nothing…there is no scent, no perfumes, no dyes — I loved that.  It lathered up so nicely and left my skin so soft and moisturized!  Afterward there was no itching, no irritation and I felt so squeaky clean.

Next it was on to the dreaded face lotion part of my after-shower routine.

I decided to try it on the top of my hand first — just in case…

Again, zero scent, zero dyes — and it melted into my skin like magic.  No greasy feeling – just baby’s butt smoothness!

I applied it to my face next and waited for the burning and redness to start — NOTHING….no burning, no irritation what-so-ever — and NO RED FACE!  I had just found my new miracle skin solution.

Both products are so natural and gentle that I am using them on BOTH babies and they have worked wonders on all of our skin.

Skin Free™ for me.
I’m more than a little excited to have found a solution to my sensitive skin problem.

Thanks for the heads up on these products.  I started getting eczema when I got pregnant the first time.  Now winters are very difficult and my hands get brutalized by cloth diapers and work as an RN.
