We’re packing up the ever so spacious Ford Edge for what should be an tantrum(ous) awesome(ly) fun 400-mile drive down to the Outer Banks. Some trepidations (oh, just Google it!) about this one. Our first real “trip” with the iTwins other than the 200 miles we travel back/forth each weekend from PA to Jersey (where the family lives).
We’ll make it though. I just know it. This is why:
(stole this OBX photo from somewhere on the interweb…credit to photog.)
The glorious beach.
I’m excited to spend an entire week+ with the inlaws family as the iTwins get to eat the sand play in the sand, and hubby and I chase children with very sandy feet relax on the ocean-front porch arguing with toasting each other.
I’ll be checking in, because I’m a addict and can’t help it, so don’t worry I won’t be too far.
Don’t forget to head on over and get your comments/entries in for our BIG Birthday Giveaway!
Any photos I am able to snap, will be posted –> over there under “iTwitpic” in the sidebar — as long as I don’t get sand in my iPhone we’ll get ‘em up here.
Welp, wish me luck…and just a little (pretty please) relaxation.
Have a Wonderful 4th of July Weekend my friends.

OUT.

PS.
Just downloaded the Yo Gabba Gabba Album from iTunes for the car ride:

ohhh man that looks ever so lovely Mama Joss!! Hope you’re having a blast!! :)
love love love the pics so far! Keep ‘em coming! Of course, by the time you get back from vacation, i will just be heading out! Can’t wait to get your updates on everything, though.
I LOVE your blog! I am going to be coming here often! I wanted to stop by and tell you that you have been randomized! Go to http://raisingbabycheap.blogpsot.com to find out more! And by the way-
wedding frosting beats red!
We haven’t heard from you, so hopefully that means you are having a relaxing time! Funny how the word “relaxing” has changed its meaning since having kids, huh? Where it once could mean kicking back in a lounge chair with a daiquiri in hand on a beach, now it might mean that you got through the day with only two kiddie meltdowns and you got to sit for at least 10 minutes! Hope it’s a great time for all of you.
I so WISH I were there. *sigh*. Have fun. Tell us all about it. Blah blah. lol. Seriously , have a relaxing time (as relaxing as it can get with irish twins! )
Sounds lovely….have a GREAT time!
Sounds like a fun time to me! Enjoy yourselves.
We used to spend a week there every summer when I was younger.
HAVE FUN!!!
