My weekend in numbers
(7) Comments
✓ Watched 8 episodes of Sesame Street OnDemand (including Elmo’s World, of course) and 17 (count ‘em) episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba (the iTwins’ new obsession and my worst nightmare – though, I have to admit the episode w/Jack Black cracks me up!)

✓ Purchased 161 (says the receipt) items at “the Walmart” (post-vacation re-stocking), including 4 avocados (for to make guacamole with this week) & 3 packages of Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts (myBuddy’s vice)
✓ Only tweet’d 6 times!
✓ Washed 9 loads of laundry – Folded 14 loads of laundry (obviously, this was the HIGHLIGHT and how I spent most of, my weekend)

✓ Gave out 5 doses of Tylenol to Pinkie who now has a come-and-go “crunchy” sounding cough. Oh, and I have a sore throat today too — fabulous — germs be gone already!
✓ Peeled 13 potatoes to make garlic herb baked potatoes to go w/hubby steak (not pictured, but good job honey):

✓ Picked 3 ripe tomatoes from my patio plants (and along w/myBuddy ate them with cucumbers doused in olive oil/red wine vinegar)
{this photo was from last year when we found myBuddy LOVED tomatoes — he went right over to my parent’s garden, picked one and ate it on the spot!}

✓ “Tiny chat’d” with 4 fabulous ladies on friday night:
— if you don’t already know them, give them a visit won’t you…Knit Purl Gurl, Jen Hinton, Cheryl, Carissa & Kelly they all have wonderful blogs, great things to say and are awesome ladies!
(I have to get their links up on my blog here today for sure!)
✓ Changed 27 diapers between the two iTwins (well, to be fair PapaBoss changed a few too…aww ain’t he the sweetest?)
✓ Cleaned up the iTwins “playzone” 5 times, refilled sippy cups 21 times and listened to them giggle with each other 7,234 times!
✓ Checked my e-mail on my iPhone 467 times, and e-mailed 0 times.
✓ Witnessed 7 major “Terrible-Twos Meltdowns” — btw, did you enter the iTwins BIG Birthday Giveaway yet?
✓ Wished I was going to BlogHer 768 times. Oh well, next year. All of you who are going have a blast and I expect a full report!
Happy Monday everyone.

Awww I JUST saw this post — still way to far behind for my own good! I LOVE you and we should compare notes on weekends…I think we live parallel lives!!!!!!
bwahahaa!! I couldn’t continue to watch that episode of Yo Gabba Gabba with the kids.. Jack Black in the hideous outfit was killing me! And don’t get me started on the dancing in that outfit…lol I’m kinda weirded out by that show anyway, but the kids seem to like it.
You had quite a weekend!
I wish I were heading to BlogHer, too!
I’m not going to Blogher either. Maybe we can cry together?
Ummmm 17 episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba? You are DA-MOM! I won’t even watch one. It hurts my ears and EYES!
I am going to try that recipie! BTW- We are throwing a 1st & 2nd birthday party extragaganza for out (I)twins also! They will be the same age for 10 days in October! We are going to rent a toddler bouncy thing and throw a circus themed birthday!
This was great! And those potatoes look amazing – how do you make them? I think even I can make those… they look simple enough, but oh, so good!
They ARE super easy!
- Dice potatoes
- Add splash of olive oil
- 1 pkg Italian dressing mix
- handful chopped parsley
- tablespoon (or more) minced garlic
- splash of vinegar
- few dashes salt/pepper
- Bake at 400 for 2 hours (covered) – uncover last hour and stir every 15 min or so.
YUMM!
