As I was in the middle of writing a blog post last night (about my Rosacea) my computer screen went blank, the computer blinked off and would not re-start.

My computer is broken and gone after many attempts and methods by my techy husband to restore it.

So this comes to you via the fabulous Wordpress App on my iPhone.

My HP Pavillion is with my hubby today, who took it to the Geek Squad desk this morning.

They believe it is the motherboard that went.  Seems to be a popular issue with HP Pavillion laptops.

I’m happy that I did back up MOST of my files on my external drive, but some were no doubt lost.

So I’m going to do the best I can from my iPhone for now.

Buying another computer $$ is out of the question right now.

Possibility that HP may provide a new motherboard if my model was part of a faulty line of production.  Hubby is looking into it.

Photo & graphic editing etc. that comes along with my reviews and giveaways is on hold for now.

My coffee was lonely this morning and the iTwins’ naptime right now has me wandering in circles.

So after working on Macs for years I have to say, I miss the reliability of them…not to mention their amazing graphics and intuitive functionality.

While a Mac (or Macbook) is NOT in my near future *sigh* perhaps a new motherboard will be.
