It’s out today!
The NEW Harry Connick Jr. Album, Your Songs. I tweeted about it earlier, and I wasn’t kidding about my excitement.

Being a huge fan of “Big Band” and a long-time Harry Connick Jr. fan, I was thrilled when I received his latest album from the wonderful One2One Network to give it a listen…that is, once I could peel myself away from staring at his photo on the front of the CD!

As soon as the iTwins went down for their nap today, I loaded the album onto my iPod and began to listen (and swing, and dance) away! Once again, it’s an ingeniously orchestrated album.

After listening to it, I was trying to critique it and tell you something that could maybe be better, but I simply couldn’t think of a thing – I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also called my Mom right away to rave about it and let her know I intend to share it with her too :)

I especially love the version of “The Way You Look Tonight” – it is so spirited and romantic right from the intro. Also a favorite on the album was his version of the Beatles “And I Love Her”…his swooning voice and the familiar melody make this song beautiful all over again.

He’s taken some of the most amazing songs written and is singing them to you…his way!
