Today is day 4 of Moxie Media’s Around the Blogosphere in 5 days. If you’ve been following, you’ve seen our mascot “Moxie Mona” in California, Texas, Florida and everywhere in between.
Today, part of her stop is my state, Pennsylvania…or as I like to adoringly call it, Pennsyltucky.
Basically that means we don’t actually live in Philly…we’re to the WEST and there is not much out here…like Kentucky (no offense to Kari, living actually IN Kentucky, is probably FAR MORE interesting).
Now I grew up a Jersey girl, and only moved out here 3 years ago, so without the beach and the NY skyline in the background, I’m quite bored with the terrain “out here”. It’s basically a “square state” with plenty of cows, cornfields, larger-than-life bugs, & the birthplace of Amish fireplaces.
Usually I try to find the best, the sparkle, the ounce of joy in everything, but where I live — I just can’t get over how boring and uneventful it is here. Oh and there is lots of cows and it smells, so I run the AC like all the time.
Oh but wait…we have Jon & Kate! Yes….that’s worth sharing with you…and I thought with Mona too.
But we’ll get to that in a second.
First I just want to tell you that I decided NOT to bore you with the cows, corn yada yada Mono-is-in-the-photo photos…and decided to let the iTwins entertain you instead.
Here is what happened when Mona met the iTwins…and basically a glimpse of a typical day around here…

So then I decided, well, why not take a little cruise past the Gosselin estate…we’re not too far away.
We didn’t get to see Kate or the kids, but wait…what’s this…
…next thing I know…well wouldn’t you know it…
…Mona joined the ranks…
…got a new ‘do…
…and…
…she’s apparently Jon’s new gal pal!
Oh Mona…you funny lady you.

LOL, wow ur son is a naughty little boy lol. He isn’t supposed to do those kind of things until he is like 30 ;) lol. Loved the video. Pinkie’s meltdown wasn’t nearly as bad as what goes down in this house on a daily basis. Be thankful for that. I wish I could down a BOTTLE of tylenol on a daily basis with this little screamin’ Mimi. The neighbor’s hear her…with the windows closed. By the way, I was born and raised in PA (I know how sad), and it isn’t ALL cows and Amish….you should come up my way. We have an awesome train museum with train excursions.

The rest of my hometown is pretty crappy, but there are a few things it is famous for. Steamtown, The Office, 30,000 lbs. of Bananas by Harry Chapin and they have AWESOME texas weiners.
