Losing Weight With my NEW Contigo® AUTOSEAL® Water Bottle

I have never been able to take in the recommended 6-8 glasses of water per day – ever.

In fact, I hate(d) water. I couldn’t even take a sip out of a glass or I’d feel nauseous…and grossed out – strange, I know. I think I even started to associate water with all the heartburn I had while I was pregnant and was even MORE turned off by a bottle of water.

So once I joined Weight Watchers and learned about how important it is to drink the recommended 6-8 8oz. glasses per day, I knew I would have to figure out a way to “learn to drink water”.

One of the first things I learned is that if you’re not properly hydrated, you’re apt to suffer from dehydration, which can cause symptoms such as headache and fatigue (I know those two pretty well). Even MORE interesting…being even slightly dehydrated can also make you feel irritable and cranky—a mood that leads many of us to eat unwisely and in larger quantities. Go figure! Makes sense to me.

First off…it’s a really fun color of PINK…”PINK looking WATER” is certainly more fun to drink all day long.

It’s so easy and FUN to use that my 2-year-old stole my husband’s and has been using it in lieu of his sippy cup. But, I just found out that Contigo also makes AUTOSEAL® Kids Mugs with the same button/release system – score! I’ll be ordering those too.

Also great how the carabiner clip works…so easy to attach to my diaper bag or the stroller.

So, with that I’m happy to report I’ve been drinking OVER 64oz. per day! This bottle is just so easy to use and fun to have around, that I’m learning to really enjoy water.

Regardless of studies, I can tell you that my skin is MORE hydrated (I can tell because I’m using a lot less lotion), I am LESS hungry, happier and less tired. It’s all finally coming together for me.
