This past weekend we ventured out to the nearby Grand Opening of BJ’s Wholesale Club in Oaks, PA (find your location here).
With my new food plan via Weight Watchers in full force, and Thanksgiving happening this week – it was time to see what we could stock up on and save!
Oh and thank goodness for BJ’s side-by-side shopping carts to fit both iTwins :)

With my free 60-day trial membership in hand (get your FREE trial membership here) and a booklet of memeber’s coupons, we were off to see what we could buy in bulk. I wanted to see how much we could save on frequently-needed items compared to purchasing them in the regular grocery store each week.
First stop was for my husband’s cereal…Lucky Charms. Over 2lbs. of cereal in one box for $6.99 – that’s a deal and should certainly last him a while. At that rate we also grabbed some Cheerios for the kids.

I’m not a cereal fan, so I picked up some egg whites and a few bundles of Progresso Light Soup — it’s 0 Weight Watchers Points, so that was a fantastic bargain-find! 12 servings (6 cans) of soup for $8.59 – awesome!

We continued to load up the cart with things like SmartPop popcorn, Hunt’s Tomato Sauce, Green Giant canned veggies, 10lbs. of frozen chicken breasts and even a FREE bunch of bananas (a special coupon for members). They have a great produce and dairy section too.
At the end of the trip we left with a cart filled with food that will last us for weeks and cost us less than $100 — we saved even more by using the member´s-only coupon sheet – it was really phenomenal savings and my husband and I were very impressed.
We also left with a few fun Elmo balloons LOL.

A HUGE thanks to BJ´s Wholesale Club, General Mills & MyBlogSpark for providing me with the free trial membership (don’t forget to get YOUR FREE TRIAL membership too!), a gift card, coupons and all of the great information.
They are also providing one of my lucky readers with a $25 BJ’s Wholesale Club Gift Card!

So, I got a little side-tracked and totally spaced out on this giveaway – I’m so sorry…I’ve been sort of wrapped up in this.
So…since I’ve kept you in suspense…

Thank for informations.
I will come back later
I would love to stock up on baking supplies for the holidays: sugar, molasses, spices, flour, etc. Thanks so much for the chance to win!!! :)
I would love to stock up on diapers. The BJs you went to is actually my local store too. I can’t wait to go there!!!
I love BJ’s! I stock up on luvs diaper since they have the cheapest. The big box is $29.99 and they usually send you a coupon for $5 off. You can’t beat that! It’s like paying 9cents a diaper for size 1.
Love BJ’s for their produce, kosher chicken and diaper/wipes. Thanks for the opportunity.

Wow! I’ve been reading your blog and I just realized you live in my area. I’m in KOP. I’m definitely going to check out BJ’s. We are Sam’s Club members, but that’s a hike. I just need to see if they have the forumla and diapers we use. I would be stocking up on those items along with wipes, pasta sauce, toilet paper, etc.
I would love to stock up on hamburger, spices, and baking supplies for the holidays!
I stock up on Diapers, Wipes, Formula, Oatmeal, Craisins, Yougurt and lots more!
I also love there deals on babies and kids clothes… our BJs carries lots of cute stuff from Carters, Heartstrings.
I like to stock up on diapers & Pull-ups (Huggies or Pampers…doesn’t matter as they serve the purpose!). We are also drawn to the frozen food dept for the larger quantities to avoid shopping so frequently for the things that we enjoy!
