Our son, “Bubba” will turn 3 years old next week on August 6th…
and our daughter, “Pinkie” will turn 2 years old next week on August 4th.
Kinda cool that the iTwins (Irish Twins) will both be technically 2 years old together for 1 day in betweeen!
Anyway…
We wanted to get them a cool gift this year since our son just might actually remember this birthday….as he still tells me stories about what he remembers from last Christmas!
Came across these Schwinn Roadster 12-Inch Trikes

These Schwinn Trikes have AWESOME reviews across the board…a few of my friends even personally own them and attest to how great these trikes are.
I loved the retro-styled look/frame with the chrome fenders…and the real wood deck in back with the burned-in Schwinn logo!
They even have the infamous Schwinn bike bells on them…I think that will be the iTwins’ favorite part :)
The trikes are specified for ages 2-6, so we’re in the perfect age range for these…oh and you know my personal full review will come in the weeks to follow.
The boxes were delivered this week and I can’t wait for my husband to put them together for the iTwins…
We also picked out these helmets for the iTwins.
The Cars Lightning McQueen Helmet
Since it’s the dead-heat of summer and we live in a townhouse without a pool 200 miles from our friends and family, we’re just having a small mini-party at the house with our parents and immediate family next weekend to celebrate both birthdays.
The iTwins have requested “Buzz & Woody” on their balloons…so I’m going to attempt to pull together a Toy Story 3 themed gathering.

those are awesome! Violet (6 weeks younger than Pinkie) has figured out how to ride the neighbor’s tricycle which is a little too big for her, so this definitely is something I want to look into for her birthday!

Love the bikes Joss, the kiddos will be in heaven, I’m sure!! Jackson started riding sans training wheels in March (he was 4 1/2 at the time) and we bought him a new Lightning McQueen 16in bike and the same helmet as “Bubba”! I have several friends with twins that have the Schwinn roadsters and LOVE them!! Can’t wait to see pics of them on the bikes and read your reviews!!
Oh and Jax is also obsessed with Toy Story lately!!
